A popular scene that can be found in science fiction movies involves a scientist in a specially designed room working on their experiment. Sometimes, this scene leads to tragedy and intensity as the lab experiment goes wrong and begins contaminating those within the chamber. This is the concept behind Demon Spore, an indie game from DinoBoss that is planned to release on PC via Steam in 2022.
Deep inside a genetic research laboratory, scientists are developing a top-secret and ethically questionable cloning technique that could revolutionize the lab-produced food industry. But a tissue replication experiment has gone wrong and given birth to a viral mass of cells that is spreading out of control and evolving into a creature from hell. Take on the role of a scientist trapped inside during the outbreak and do everything you can to fight back from the sporadic growth of the experiment before it takes over!
Demon Spore will be an interesting take on the horror-action genre, but it definitely looks pretty intriguing. Hopefully, there will be a playable demo to try out prior to release, but at least this reveal trailer gives a great first look at what we can expect from the game.
