If you haven't heard as of yet, LA Noire is being remastered by Rockstar Games for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. This news was welcomed by many fans of the game, including me who got to play it on my old Xbox 360 for countless hours. What is even exciting for someone like me who never got to play the DLCs is that they will be included with the remastered edition.
There's just one thing you need to know beforehand if you are planning to buy this for your Switch. If you have a look at the Rockstar website, you may noticed that the Switch version is $10 more for a physical copy. And the reason is apparently because of the cost to produce the Switch cards, which is more expensive than the normal disc we use for the PS4 and Xbox One.
If you are getting the digital version, then that's alright. All digital versions will be sold at $40 irrespective, which is the same price as the physical versions for the PS4 and Xbox One. I am hoping to receive a review key for LA Noire, but even if I don't I am glad I have a PS4 at least.
Does the price matter? Will you be getting the digital version for your Switch anyway? If not, does the physical price hike put you off? Let us know.
For a bit of nostalgia, here is the original teaser trailer for LA Noire from 2011:
