Creepy, co-op stealth survival game GTFO has officially left early access and released their 1.0 version of the game! After having a long time in Steam’s early access, giving plenty of time for players to get a first impression of the game, 10 Chambers announced the release during The Game Awards. As a bonus for interested new players, the game is on sale for 25% off until December 22nd.
This tactical horror shooter game has been in development since 2015 and is the studio’s first title. In it, players take on the role of a prisoner that is dropped into the Rundown when a new Work Order is issued by the Warden, the mysterious entity holding you captive. The dangerous underground prison is overrun with alien-like creatures, so be sure to take hold of the GTFO motto, “work together or die together.”
When it comes to the game’s official launch, Ulf Andersson, Creative Director of GTFO, stated, “Over the last year, we've been polishing everything we already have in the game while adding new features. We have worked hard to welcome new players while at the same time challenging our hardcore audience. I believe you will find GTFO a challenging but enjoyable experience thanks to our updated expeditions and our new combat buddies, the bots.”
