It’s been a couple of months since we were introduced to Peril on Gorgon, the new DLC for The Outer Worlds, the absolutely bonkers space RPG from Obsidian Entertainment.
Well, now it’s out, available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One! We’ll be releasing our review for the add-on content next week, so stay tuned for that exploration of what goodies have been added into the world and how it compares to the full game, as well as its value as a DLC purchase.
There’s a lot that Obsidian Entertainment has packed into the game. The first of two narrative expansions, Peril on Gorgon will introduce an abandoned Spacer’s Choice facility on an asteroid. That’s right. There’s no better place to produce stimulants than a treacherous asteroid. So, a new location, a lengthy narrative add-on that will reveal new weapons (including delightful science contraptions), and even more character customization—this involves an increased level cap, new perks/flaws, and a whole lot more.
But, the story is what matters, so let’s hope it’s good. I’ve got my fingers crossed, and I’m ready to share my experience with you guys next week!
