As of writing, we're less than 24 hours out from the official announcement of the SNES Classic, and it's already sold out in the U.K. While the U.S. has yet to open their floodgates for pre-orders, all U.K. retailers have already exhausted their supply and the holders of pre-orders are already scalping their consoles for 2x the amount online. It looks like we have another NES Classic on our hands guys.
Let's hope Nintendo plans on making more copies of the SNES Classic as the company flat out quit production of the NES Classic so counting on them to continue production past the initial sell out does not have much precedent. Are you already preparing yourself for disappointment? I know Nintendo is promising it'll be different this time, but quite frankly, I'll believe it when I can walk into a store and buy one.
