CD PROJEKT RED’s December release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition brought gamers back to one of gaming’s greatest RPGs with a whole new coat of paint. The Complete Edition was a free next-gen update available for all owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Pc versions of the game, along with the standalone next-gen digital purchase. Featuring Performance and Ray Tracing modes, support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, faster loading times, haptic feedback on the PlayStation 5 controller, and content from The Witcher Netflix show. The Complete Edition also includes all the previously released content for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Of course, some gamers bemoaned the digital-only release, and CD PROJEKT RED has surprised its fans with a physical retail copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - The Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No more will players have to stare sadly at empty spots on their disk library where this remaster should be.
