There are plenty of games out there that let you play as the protagonist that is out to save the day or world from evil. It seems that developers Carrya.Tec have partnered up with X.D. Network, the publishers that brought the well received game Muse Dash to light, and they are looking to put players in the shoes of a hero, who doesn’t quite deserve the title, in their upcoming game Roguelike Hero. This game is heavily inspired by Stephen Chow’s trolling comedy style, so we can expect an absurd and funny action experience with trolling mechanics.
This game will have players play as a walk-on actor, struggling to get a good role. Each stage is an action movie set-piece and players fight through various enemies with silly ways to complete the filming. Attack options will feature a large amount of trolling weapons and moves, such as the fart counter move and spit attack. Aside from these mechanics, we will also notice some implementation of classic action game mechanics while we watch this comedy story of justice.
There is no set launch date yet, but Roguelike Hero is set to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Until we get more information, check out the reveal trailer below and let us know what you think of this upcoming comedy-action game in the comments below!
