We have been shown details for the story, we’ve been creeped out from an eerie Gamescom reveal trailer, but now we finally have an actual release date. Wired Productions and Camel 101 have been building up to this reveal for Those Who Remain for about a year now, so it is good to see the wait is coming to an end. We can now look forward to this game to launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 15th, with a Nintendo Switch release said to follow sometime in the Summer of 2020.
Are you ready to put on the shoes of Edward, a man with a seemingly perfect lift that was lured into darkness? All he was attempting to do was break off his affair and put his family back on track, but finds himself confronting uncomfortable horrors as he drives into the night, unaware of the darkness brewing below Dormont and the cause of recent disappearances. He must survive the night as he is faced with a test of his sanity, morality and the shadows of evil that lurks below.
While there will be the standard edition for the game, they also plan to offer a deluxe version of the game which will include a digital download of the beautifully illustrated comic prequel story, ‘Those Who Remain: Lights Out’. Are you excited for this psychological horror thriller?
