Neogaf user Ekim has unveiled a trademark filed for a new Katamari Damacy game. Not much is known outside of the trademark details, but it is worth noting that this is the first time since 2004 that the word Damacy is back in the series title name. It's also interesting that Amazing Katamari Damacy was filed for by Bandai Namco in Europe, who has never seen the release of the game series.
Lots of speculation as to what this could end up being. Some of the popular ideas are...
- Re-release of original game for PS4
- Mobile game (series has gone in that direction for last two entries)
- New game entirely
Let's hope it's a new game...and hopefully not PS4 exclusive! You never know!
