Ready your blades and fire up those bolters, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters has announced a release date of May 5, 2022, with the release of a new pre-order trailer. Frontier Foundry and Complex Games have revealed that Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, Squadron 42, Star Wars) will voice Grand Master Vardan Kai, and the new trailer features the legendary actor giving us a small intro and a sample of his performance as the character.
Featuring some story elements and a look at some new environments, this new trailer for Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters includes the bonuses players will receive for pre-ordering, which is these two exclusive in-game items:
The ancient tome Domina Liber Daemonica is carried into battle by a hero of the Chapter during times of great need, and the words within have the power to send Daemons howling back into the warp.
The centuries-old Destroyer of Crys’yllix Daemonhammer, meanwhile, was the first Nemesis Daemonhammer of its kind, famously used centuries earlier to shatter the Lord of Change Crys’yllix.
Seeing the explosions and destruction as the White Knights fight the pox-ridden Blight of Nurgle is a joy, and it is definitely exciting to see such a prolific actor as Serkis joining the Warhammer 40k universe. He will be voicing the Grand Master Vardan Kai, the guidance for you in your journey aboard the Baleful Edict. As you research technology to fight the Blight, customize and train your knights, and repair your ship, Serkis’ character will guide you with advice and tips to make the most of your victories.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters will release May 5th on PC and is available for pre-order on both Steam and the Epic Game Store.
