In an age where it seems like AI can't get smart enough comes a new game that promises the game will learn from you and defeat you. ECHO is a bold concept for an adventure game, but definitely will be awesome if it manages to pull of what it promises...check out the description.
After a century in stasis the girl En arrives at her destination: A Palace out of legend, a marvel of the old civilization eons gone, still awaiting its first human occupants. Out here, using forgotten technologies, she hopes to bring back a life that should not have been lost...
ECHO starts as a character driven journey of discovery, but as it unfolds it evolves into something altogether more punishing: As you try to wield its magical technologies it becomes apparent that the Palace has a will of its own… It studies everything you do, everything you are – to use it against you.
The palace will supposedly make note of your actions and movements while you're "in the light" and then when it reboots have the AI react as you would in situations. While the palace is in a blackout, however, you can act as you will without consequence.
If they manage to pull it off I can see this being a very awesome stealth experience! I'll have to see more before the game's launch before I believe it though. ECHO is slated for PC and unannounced console release in Spring 2017.
