It’s almost time to officially set out on the strange adventure through tales in the pages of books as tinyBuild and DO MY BEST prepare to launch The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales this week! Even though it has been a couple of years since I had a chance to get a hands-on first impression of this game, it has been one that I remember experiencing. If the demo left an impact, I can’t wait to see how the full experience plays out!
Seek redemption for astonishing crimes as Etienne Quist, a bookwalker with the ability to plunge into the worlds of literature. Search through the words of authors to steal valuable artifacts like the potion of life or King Arthur’s Sword in the Stone, but take caution of vicious Ink Eaters, shapeshifting entities hidden amidst the texts waiting to attack. Pay penance as unique and undiscovered planes are traversed through various periods of time.
The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is set to launch on June 22nd for PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
