In November Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon: Brilliant Pearl were released on Nintendo Switch; the Sinnoh region is re-imagined like never before! You can see the region from a new 3D perspective. You can get completely immersed in this faithfully recreated world as you explore the rich land and encounter diverse Pokémon along the way.
While on your journey to becoming a Pokémon master, you can compete in Super Contest Shows to test your rhythm and put your Pokémon in the spotlight. You can also enter the Grand Underground and venture into the subterranean maze that stretches beneath the entirety of Sinnoh, where you can dig for treasures like shards and fossils. With the 1.1.0 update, your friends can join you for both activities online! Plus, until February 21st, you can receive a legendary Manaphy through Mystery Gift if you have the online feature.
Once you've become Champion of the Sinnoh region and completed your Pokédex, you’ll be able to visit Ramanas Park; mysterious grounds where legendary Pokémon reside in caves dotted throughout the park. Inside the caverns are pedestals, and it’s said that if players insert its corresponding slate, a Legendary Pokémon will appear. While some of these Legendary Pokémon can only be encountered in one game version or the other, players can still get them on their team through other means such as trading. In Pokémon: Brilliant Pearl, it’s possible to encounter Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Lugia, while in Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond, it’s possible to encounter Raikou, Entei, Suicune, and Ho-Oh.
