Video game merch shop iam8bit has announced a limited run release of a special two-LP set of music inspired by 2021’s Genesis Noir called Big Bang: Music from the Universe of Genesis Noir. This is an official release by iam8bit, in collaboration with the developer and publisher of the game, Feral Cat Den and Fellow Traveler respectively. iam8bit has a long track record of producing high-quality vinyl soundtracks, including Psychonauts, Banjo-Kazooie, and Persona 5.
This is not a one-to-one translation of the game’s soundtrack, however. All 28 tracks have been “cosmically expanded” to include new vocals, new instrument solos, and even a few surprises the creators seem eager to not spoil. Because the music of the game is so important to the telling of its story, having this expanded soundtrack can only help increase the appreciation this game has garnered in the year it’s been out.
Big Bang: Music from the Universe of Genesis Noir is available now through iam8bit’s website. iam8bit has been in the business of creating unique, premium collectibles since 2005. They have even opened an art gallery in Los Angeles where they regularly curate exhibitions. Genesis Noir is available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox systems.
