Slitherine and Black Lab Games are bringing their currently PC-only game, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, to Xbox and PlayStation on December 2nd. The critically acclaimed turn-based strategy game has been available on PC (via Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle) since July of this year, and now is being ported and reworked for console controls.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a turn-based strategy title that takes players to the battlefields of the 41st Millennium. There’s a single-player campaign that takes place in the aftermath and Devastation of Baal. Sergeant Carleon and his allies will need to eliminate the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and protect the Blood Angels.
This upcoming console version will include achievement and trophy support, an updated UI, and an all-new control scheme. Players will have full tactical control when commanding the Blood Angel Space Marines against their Tyranid enemies.
The main Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector game will soon be expanded through new DLC packs that will arrive on December 2 as well. These upcoming DLC packs will introduce new factions, new elite units, and new maps and modes to the game.
The game will soon launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Games for Windows on December 2. Additionally, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console on day one of this upcoming launch. Not sure what to expect? Check out the release trailer below!
