MORTAL KOMBAT 1 STRESS TEST
I was surprised to see a code for the MORTAL KOMBAT 1 Stress Test arrive in my inbox and to say I was blown away by the limited but fantastic test would be a gross understatement. Running in 4K at a silky 60 FPS on the PS5, this game played like butter online and offline with incredible effects, animation, and disgusting, bone-crunching detail. I will be watching this one very closely for a launch later this Fall.
FINAL FANTASY XVI
A completely different genre but surprisingly dark and gory in some parts, this is not your Dad’s Final Fantasy. While it has chocobos and that incredible trademark Final Fantasy-esque soundtrack, this is more Game of Thrones that it is your traditional FF. Either way, it’s an absolutely incredible audiovisual feast that is the showcase for the PS5 platform.
