Giant Sparrow’s What Remains of Edith Finch is now available on the Nintendo eShop! Assuming the role of Edith Finch players will explore the mansion the Finch’s once resided. The mansion is thought to have a family curse that has killed off every member of the Finch family except Edith. Using journals and other personal effects, players will learn about each family member and learn how they died. Check out the Nintendo Switch launch trailer below!
What Remains of Edith Finch has recieved multiple awards since its original 2017 launch including Best Narrative from The Game Awards 2017 and GDC 2018. Our own Dean Clark also gave the game a positive review citing that it is a “great game with an interesting story and an unexpected ending!” Interactive storytelling games are some of my favorite experiences on the Switch so this release looks to be right up my alley!
