After selling over one million copies and being adapted into a popular Netflix series, The Umbrella Academy comic series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá is making its way onto your tabletop.
Dark Horse Comics and Studio 71 have teamed up to create a card game based on the adventures of the very dysfunctional family of superheroes. Reaching its funding goal of $30,000 in under an hour, The Umbrella Academy Game is available to back now on Kickstarter and features four different pledge levels.
Backers can acquire the Standard, Deluxe, Collector’s or Retail editions by pledging $25, $45, $75, and $150 respectively. Currently sitting at over 1,600 backers and $130,000 funded, there is still plenty of time to score yourself a Kickstarter exclusive version of the game with 31 days left in the campaign.
For more details on the Umbrella Academy Game, be sure to check out the Kickstarter campaign page. If you haven’t already, I would highly recommend you also check out the original comic book series and the Netflix adaptation as well.
