You can do many things in Assassin's Creed: Origins that you couldn't do in past games, but right now the internet is just content with the fact you can now pet cats. The feature to pet domesticated animals was first included in Assassin's Creed 3, but then was removed for whatever reason in Unity and Syndicate.
Fans complained and, as you can see in the gif below, Ubisoft listened:
It's a small thing, but it's little details like this that should show that Ubisoft really put some work into making this new game something fans of the franchise will actually enjoy playing. Now, if they can just reimplement the feature where I can beat the piss out of random civilians without killing them I'd be super happy!
