On the heels of the announcement that Lionhead Studios would be disbanded by Microsoft, the company told it's fans some surprisingly good news. Even though Fable Legends is cancelled, you will still be able to play it's Beta (if you have a code) until April 13th according to Forceclaw.
Seems like an odd move for a game that will never see the light of day right? Part of me wonders if Microsoft might be trying to purchase the Fable franchise to give to another studio? It could just be a show of good faith by Lionhead who wants to give the franchise that gave their studio life a final send off.
Anyone have a beta they can let us in on?!
