Ace Combat 7 Launches in roughly 2 and a half weeks and now we are starting to get hints about what the DLC for it will be like! In an interview with 4Gamer, Ace Combat 7 Producer Manabu Shimomoto, let everyone know that work on the DLC has “started.” He goes on to further explain that the DLC will offer a “different experience and story” from the main game. The goal behind the DLC having a different story is to let players “have even more fun.” Shimomoto also wishes for any players that haven’t played any games in the series to try out Ace Combat 7 when it releases on January 18, 2019!
Having side stories added into the game as DLC sounds pretty great to me. I love the lore of the Strangereal universe and it is personally why I feel like I never got into the last couple of entries of Ace Combat. I am also blown away by the fact that Shimomoto mentions it has been 12 years since the last numbered entry in the series! I can’t wait to hear more info on the Ace Combat 7 DLC in the coming months.
