For all the fans of action-heavy dating sims, Studio Sai has just the game for you. Eternights was announced at this month’s PlayStation State of Play with a reveal trailer that shows off the game’s vibrant, anime-style aesthetic and several of the game’s mechanics, including action-heavy battles and confidants that can influence the main character’s performance in battle.
Eternights is an action RPG that takes place in a city that has been overrun with a disease that turns humans into power-hungry monsters. The protagonist and a small band of allies are the only ones capable of finding a cure, but they’re working against the clock and an army of vicious creatures to accomplish their mission.
Players will have a limited amount of time each day to take certain actions around the city such as exploring dungeons, searching for resources, or spending time with confidants. The choices they make will influence their combat abilities and there are even fully animated cutscenes that change depending on who the player chooses to date.
Eternights will launch in Early 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. For more from the June State of Play, get a closer look at Horizon Call of the Mountain and the newly revealed Resident Evil 4 Remake.
