The critically acclaimed indie adventure title Tunic is making its way to the PlayStation family of consoles later this year. This news comes from yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play presentation, and the reveal featured footage of the various locales players will visit on their journey alongside a brave and adventurous fox.
Tunic originally launched this past March on Xbox consoles and PC to widespread praise for its puzzle design, art, music, and compelling narrative. In our review, we described the game as a “beautiful piece of art that manages to recognize its influences while crafting its own, unique identity.”
Tunic is an adventure game from the TUNIC Team and FINJI that follows the quest of a young, intrepid fox to save a mysterious island from a curse of perpetual life. To accomplish this task, players will need to defeat fearsome bosses, collect valuable pages of a retro-inspired guidebook, and solve increasingly complex environmental puzzles.
Tunic will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 27th, 2022.
