After a successful launch in 2020, Giant Squid and Annapurna Interactive have been bringing their open-world adventure game The Pathless to more platforms. Its initial stunning performance on the PlayStation 4|5 soon brought it over to PC on Steam, but this week the game will reach a few new platforms. On February 2nd, this journey heads to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Players take on the role of the Hunter, a master of archery who travels to a mystical island to dispel a curse of darkness that grips the world. The Hunter must forge a connection with an eagle companion to hunt corrupted spirits, being careful to not become the hunted. Players will explore misty forests full of secrets, solve puzzles in ancient ruins, and be tested in epic battles.
They have also partnered with iam8bit and Skybound who will soon release a physical retail edition on the Nintendo Switch.
The Pathless is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It will be available on February 2nd for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Will you finally be heading out to be the hunter of this journey?
