Some quests in Arc Raiders, like Unexpected Initiative, have you traversing places high up on the map. The Eyes in the Sky quest does just that, and you’ll be expected to place a LiDAR Scanner in three different areas.
The problem here is that these locations are on completely different maps, so you can’t just get it all done in one round. Let’s go over how you can complete the Eyes in the Sky quest in Arc Raiders to make the hunt easier on you.
How to install LiDAR Scanner on the Control Tower
The first location will be the Control Tower on Dam Battlegrounds. Be careful here, as this is a popular spot for other Raiders due to the rare loot. Once inside the building, head all the way past the Dam Staff Room Door. Make a right, and you’ll find a breachable door.
Once you break open the door, you’ll want to take the zipline up. But be careful, as there is a turret above you. Have it try to shoot at you, then zipline up and destroy it on your way. You could also leave it be so any enemy Raiders who follow you will be shot at.
Upon making it up, you’ll eventually make it to the roof, where you can place your first scanner on a tripod in the corner.
How to install LiDAR Scanner at the Communications Tower
Your second spot will be on Spaceport at the Communications Tower. Trek to that area of the map, and when you get near enough, you’ll see a yellow ladder you can climb up. Head as high as you can, and on a platform, you’ll find a tripod to place the next scanner.
How to install LiDAR Scanner on top of the Galleria sign
This last location is trickiest to get to, and you must bring a zipline with you. Upon reaching the roof of the Galleria on Buried City, you’ll want to make it to the side with the tall sign. There should be some walkways you can leap across to make it there safely.
Once across, take out your zipline and aim it above the circular walkway around the top of the Galleria sign. Be careful once you make it up, as you can easily slip and fall if you don’t land properly. Your last scanner can be placed here.
