Similar to other early Arc Raiders quests, Hatch Repairs will introduce you to a new mechanic that will come in handy: a much faster way to extract and return to Speranza. And, once again, the game will require your repair chops to complete the quest, just like in Off the Radar.
Thankfully, Hatch Repairs is extremely easy to complete, with the only challenge being finding a Raider Hatch. Here is how to complete the Hatch Repairs quest in Arc Raiders.
How to complete the Hatch Repairs quest in Arc Raiders
Once you have completed the first set of Arc Raiders quests, you will be tasked with repairing the leaking hydraulic pipes near a Raider Hatch. The game makes it very easy to spot these, as they appear on the map. Given that this is an early quest, here are all Raider Hatch locations on the Dam Battlegrounds map.
Once you arrive at the Raider Hatch, you will notice a glowing pipe sticking out of it. Get near it and interact with it to begin the repairs. Beware of your surroundings, as Raider Hatches, similar to elevators, might have ARC enemies lurking around.
Once you have successfully repaired the leaking hydraulic pipes, Shani will contact you and inform you that one fellow raider left a Raider Hatch Key nearby. Contrary to elevators, Raider Hatches require these items to enable extraction. It’s a small price to pay, as extraction becomes essentially instantaneous, potentially becoming lifesaving.
Find the Raider Hatch Key, use it at the Raider Hatch panel, and extract back to Speranza. Congratulations! You have completed the Hatch Repairs quest. You will receive a spare Raider Hatch Key and Binoculars as a reward, so make sure to use them when necessary.
