It’s a good time to be a Star Wars fan. After years of waiting, Aspyr is resurrecting the original Star Wars: Battlefront games with their latest Star Wars re-release, the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection! This new release will be a combination of both of the first two original Battlefront games along with some previously unreleased content!
Players can expect to play both games’ campaigns, head into Galactic Conquest, and even 64-player online game modes! Each game will see unreleased maps added, such as Jabba’s Palace to Battlefront, and a personal favorite of mine; Rhen Var to Battlefront II. Brand-new heroes and villains are also making the docket this time around, such as Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto!
Players can expect to begin dropping into the battlefield on March 14, as the game releases on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One!
