If you’re a fan of old-school Assassin’s Creed, have I got some news for you! Ubisoft has officially announced that Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is in fact coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 17th! It had been heavily rumored that this set of titles would be coming to the console but now we have the concrete truth.
This collection not only includes the three iconic titles that feature the master assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, but a bunch of extra goodies and exciting new improvements. The Ezio Collection includes Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and two short films (Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers). It’s also worth noting that all DLC for each of these games is included as well.
This new port to the Switch is a pretty cool one as it also features the chance to take the games on the go via handheld mode, HD rumble unique to the Joy-Cons, touchscreen interface, and an optimized HUD. Being able to take some of the AC franchise’s best games featuring its most important assassin with me wherever I go is enough to get me hyped to play them yet again.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection releases on February 17th for the Nintendo Switch and will cost $39.99 at launch.
