We’ve all been waiting to sink our teeth into EA and Dice’s Battlefield 2042 since its announcement trailer. Well, we finally have a chance starting next week! The official word from EA is that Battlefield 2042’s open beta begins for all players on October 8th and ends on October 9th. Players who pre-order the game or are active EA Access members will be able to jump into the action a bit earlier, starting October 6th. All players though can begin pre-loading the beta on October 5th.
What players can expect from the beta is a chance to get their boots dirty in the game’s Orbital map and Conquest game mode. Conquest is sure to give players a fair chance at exploring the map and Orbital itself is a pretty exciting one, featuring a rocket launch during your battle. The beta will also allow players to play as four specialists; Boris, Casper, Falck, and Mackay.
