Persona 5 seems to be having crossovers with every game under the sun besides Fortnite! Blizzard just released a trailer for Overwatch 2’s upcoming Season 18 with a sneak peek at a collaboration with Persona 5 at the end.
Dropping August 26, big changes are coming to Stadium with Stadium Quick Play, and we’re getting a new Support Hero who has the power to control water. But if you stuck around till the end of the trailer, Persona fans would’ve noticed a familiar silhouette framed by his iconic all-out attack screen.
Yes, if you can believe it, Persona 5 skins are coming to Overwatch 2! For now, we only know that one hero is getting Joker’s skin. We got a glimpse of the mask belonging to the leader of the Phantom Thieves, as well as his stand-out red gloves.
Who’s behind the mask? We won’t know just yet. But you can expect more news about this unexpected crossover in the coming weeks. Since this was a Season 18 trailer, Blizzard will likely drop these skins into this hero shooter’s shop sometime within the next two months.
Not only that, but like other past collaborations such as My Hero Academia and Avatar: The Last Airbender, we’ll likely get a collection of around six skins. Although it seems like these skins will strictly come from Persona 5, perhaps it’s a general Persona collaboration, and we’ll see skins from Persona 3 and 4.
Only time will tell, as fans are already cooking up ideas of which Overwatch heroes will get to wear the costumes of the beloved Persona 5 characters.
