During Day 2 of the Star Wars Celebration happening in Anaheim, California, fans were finally given the first teaser for the highly anticipated sequel to Respawn Entertainment's 2019 hit, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Simply named, Star Wars Jedi; Survivor, this latest new entry for the series will see the return of the previous games’ protagonist, Cal Kestis.
The teaser trailer released shows Cal Kestis as he takes on an unnamed Inquisitor and is overpowered. Though this character is of the same race as The Grand Inquisitor (Pau'an), his build and eyes don’t look as they did in Rebels or the recently released Obi-Wan Kenobi series. There is a lot of monologuing but the juiciest bit of content comes at the last third of the video.
We see a long-haired figure floating in a bacta tank, seemingly lost in time as the bunker around it is overgrown with greenery. What can be assumed to be a Jedi, this longhaired character seems as if they are of some importance, and most likely the titular Survivor.
The trailer ends, giving us the title as well as its release window set for 2023. There has yet to be confirmation on what platforms it will be released on.
