Just in case you were wondering why your grandma will all the sudden be talking about Candy Crush in a couple months this is why. ArsTechnica reports that Lionsgate TV and King Ltd. are developing a game show adaptation of their popular mobile game Candy Crush.
The game show will consist of two teams competing on giant interactive game boards to complete puzzles for ultimate supremacy. The people developing it swear it'll be entertaining to watch...which why would they say otherwise?
I can see a giant version of Candy Crush being entertaining to play, but I can't imagine it being that much fun to watch. What I really want to know is if one team fails to complete their board can they pay 99 cents for three more turns?
