It would appear that the leaks held true, as they usually do. Captain Price is crossing over into Treyarch’s universe as a pre-order bonus in Black Ops 4. If you pre-order, or have already pre-ordered a physical, or digital copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you get access to Captain Price as a playable Blackout character. You can hop into Blackout as Captain Price right now if you are on PlayStation, with other platforms to follow. On top of Captain Price, you will also get a prestige token for use in the multiplayer mode in Black Ops 4.
The hype train for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is really rolling now. Alongside the announcement of Price, we also got one hour of brand new multiplayer game-play, with the official multiplayer premiere happening on August 1st. I don’t doubt that we will see campaign, or even some new Spec-ops mode game-play in the near future, as this is just the beginning. The game is slated for an October 25th release date and will feature no season pass, and will include cross-play. This is starting to feel like the most connected Call of Duty yet.
