With anticipation already mounting as July 31st, the release date for the Cat Quest Pawsome Pack, nears, developers The Gentlebros and publisher PQube are excited to share the details of a free update coming to Cat Quest II. This update will affect all versions of the game and is set to release on International Cat Day 2020, which is August 8th.
Officially known as the Mew World Update, players will find a few additions to the game. This update will include a ‘Mew Game’ mode, new enemies, item sorting, sprinting, and more! There will even be new ways to attack your foes, like a new spinning slash that can be performed by attacking during a roll. They even improved the defense stat by putting the bar in front of your health bar, having it take damage before your health does, and having it regenerate once you stop taking damage. This update is definitely focused on improving the longevity of the game and giving old players a reason to come back while providing a more expansive game for new players to look forward to.
