The successor title to one of the best horror games from 2018, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, has released its official reveal trailer. While there was an original announcement for Remothered 2 a few months back where they used the title “Going Porcelain,” it seems they have landed on the new official name Remothered: Broken Porcelain. This new chapter to the Darril Arts series is getting published by Modus Games and being developed by Stormind Games; the team that landed the first chapter of the series in Gametyrant’s Top 5 Indies of 2018 as well as many prestigious awards.
In this official announcement trailer, we get to see the main character and a taste of the atmosphere. It doesn’t seem like we are going to be in the same house, but it also looks to be a different era at play. No word if this is going to be a prequel or sequel to the series, but either way I am interested in knowing more about the game. Remothered has an intriguing story within the walls of that mansion, so my bet is that it will end up being within that same home, but with such a short preview it is hard to tell at this point.
At least we know it will be out sometime in 2020 and is planned to be on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch all at the same time. If you aren’t aware yet, the first Remothered game is now available on all platforms as well, it just took a few separate release dates. Are you prepared to start solving puzzles while in a constant game of cat-and-mouse again?
