An extended trailer for Sony and Insomniac Games’ upcoming game, Spider-Man showcased the game’s open-world environment, gameplay, and combat. The latest preview was unveiled during Sony’s E3 Press Conference yesterday.
Spider-Man was initially announced during E3 2016, which showcased early gameplay footage of the upcoming game. However, this year’s preview showed an in-depth look at how the combat system will work in the game. Several of Spidey’s iconic enemies such as Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, and Vulture were all spotted as they escape the maximum security prison called The Raft.
The latest trailer also showed Insomniac’s three features for the gameplay such as the combo-based combat, the vast array of gadgets that will aid Spider-Man in his missions, and of course, it wouldn’t be a true Spider-Man game without the web-swinging, which looks incredible in this game.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive title and will be released on the console on September 7, 2018.
