Developer Ground Shatter and publisher Mode 7 have announced Fights in Tight Spaces, an action indie that will be released later this year.
At the intersection of John Wick and Superhot, this upcoming game combines deck-building, turn-based tactics, and animated fight sequences. The minimalist art style lets the action take center stage, and Ground Shatter has transformed tabletop and card game design elements into a thrilling fighting game.
Players will have to devise a strategy for balancing their hand and positioning to overcome the odds as opponents outnumber the Section Eleven agent.
Here’s the synopsis from Ground Shatter:
In an era where espionage is handled largely by data-packets being pored over by teams of analysts, Section Eleven’s approach is more hands-on, dealing with the sorts of criminal organizations who live and operate outside the realms of electronic communication. When the rest of the intelligence services have failed, they call Section Eleven.
As a Section Eleven agent, it is your job to find direct solutions to emerging threats… largely by smashing people’s faces into things.
It looks like an indie project worth checking out!
