Gotta catch that dubbing process! A new video from Vanity Fair goes into the process of how Pokemon Company International makes the Pokémon anime possible in English. This video features voice actress Sarah Natochenny and series voice director Lisa Ortiz dubbing clips from Pokémon Sun and Moon: The Series.

Nathochenny has been the voice of Ash Ketchum since 2006 and also voices Ash’s Mom, Joanna (Dawn’s Mom), and Pokémon such as Staraptor and Misdreavus. Ortiz has been involved in the English language version of the Pokémon anime since season 1 as various recurring characters such as Sabrina the Psychic Pokémon and later voiced Oshawott, the sea otter Pokémon.
