If you’re not paying close attention, you may not have even noticed your motorcycle can glide in Code Vein 2. This can be particularly frustrating you’re a completionist seeking a way to tick off the Wings Deployed trophy or achievement, as it’s possible you’ve been waiting for a glide ability that isn’t coming. Luckily, now you know — so let’s dive into how to make it happen and where you’ll want to jump to get the best glide (and a nice healing upgrade, too).
How to glide in Code Vein 2 for Wings Deployed
To glide in Code Vein 2, you’ll need to be on your motorcycle, then hit a ramp (or experience a drop from somewhere high). While midair, press the same button you use to jump to expand your motorcycle’s wings, allowing you to glide short distances.
While there are certainly various spots you could get the Wings Deployed trophy or achievement, I’d recommend knocking it out at a specific spot in the Sunken City to kill two birds with one stone.
Head to the decrepit building below and fight your way to the top.
When you reach the rooftop, you’ll discover a concrete ramp. Use the resurrection monument up here in case things go wrong, then take a look southeast to notice a large tower (see the trajectory in the map image above).
We’re headed over there, so hop on your motorcycle. Get a decent amount of speed going, hit the ramp, then press your glide button. Fly across to the tower.
Gliding all the way to the tower will inevitably trigger the Wings Deployed trophy or achievement. But you’ll also be able to pick up a Golden Blood Bead inside the tower, which you can use to upgrade your regeneration recovery amount. I’d say that’s a pretty sweet bonus.
Code Vein 2 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
