If you’re looking at official winners and losers in the “Best Characters” contest for Hades, then look no further. Over the last few days, Nintendo Minute has joined forces with Greg Kasavin from Supergiant Games to explore the best-looking, the most interesting, and the most helpful characters in the charming roguelike adventure from the indie publisher. The last category is for the personalities with the coolest powers, so every single matchup is going to be tense because there are a lot of colorful characters in this game.
Since its release out of Early Access, Hades has been getting great reviews, so it’s no surprise that Nintendo is wanting to highlight this special dungeon-crawler.
The creators of Bastion and Transistor have proved their mettle as indie game designers and Hades challenges players to defy the god of the dead in this hack-and-slash.
When you get done, though, you won’t be finished because you’ll have to come back to these videos and determine if you agree with these rankings!
The Nintendo Minute hosts have some strong opinions from their time with the game, but they’re talking with the creative director. And Greg has some thoughts on his babies. His warped, violent, and strange babies from the alluring world of Hades.
There are some good arguments here. And some bad ones. At the end of the day, though, it just makes me want to play the game, which is probably the point.
