One of the best horror writers of ole was the great H.P. Lovecraft. While his work has always been enjoyed by horror readers, it is in the modern age that we are getting the chance to not only see his work, but truly experience it. The most popular story of his, Call of Cthulhu, recently got a game launch featuring Cthulhu itself, but one of the original games to launch was Conarium.
Originally launching on Steam, Zoetrope and Iceberg Interactive released Conarium for PC players to experience the Lovecraftian novella, “At the Mountains of Madness,” but their latest announcement trailer shows us a console launch. Come February of this year, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will have a chance to experience the story of four scientists who challenge the limits of nature itself! Check it out:
With the game launching a year and a half ago on Steam, we get a quick glimpse at how well it has done with the original players, which is mostly positive. Conarium does look to be well made in its trailer and it is good to see that this is in fact a game to look forward to. As a horror and H.P. Lovecraft fan myself, I was already excited to get a chance to experience another one of his stories, but positive reviews is surly comforting.
What do you think about bringing another H.P. Lovecraft tale to the console platforms?
