We’re here with an update for the deadline for entries on our first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. We have more than enough interest to blow the event out of the water, but in order for the event to be planned for properly early registration is key. We want this tournament to rock the very core of the Wasatch Front, and that will only happen with enough pre-registered gamers. However, rather than cancel the event we’re going to push it out to December 29th. Not only does that give those who haven’t yet had a chance to register, but gives us the time to bring our players an even better experience!
For starters, now anyone who pre-registers before the deadline of December 27th will be getting the early registration price of $25 per player. On top of that, not only will your entry fee give you a chance at the $500 grand prize, it’ll also enter you into our first announcement of crazy awesome perks we will be rolling out over the coming months. Experienced Twitch streamer and professional CS:GO player Syndrome208 will be providing insight into the inner workings of going full time as a professional streamer. You’ll learn the ins and outs of starting your own pro-level Twitch channel and start finding new ways to make the big bucks doing what you already love to do, kicking ass at Counter-Strike!
And just because we love our gamers so much, we’re not stopping with the perks there. We are also happy to announce that all registered competitors and those signing up for our $15 free-play LAN at the tournament are qualified for a huge giveaway of free skins. Items available will value in total over $1000! That’s a lot of rad, free stuff just for playing!
Leading up to the event we will announce even more perks available to our players, and we look forward to blowing this event way out of the water! All those who have pre-registered, your fee will already be covered for the event on December 29th, and you will get preferential placement on the brackets. We want to award those who jumped on early! Now get your friends together, form a team, and get ready to throw down!
Further details on events will be seen here on GameTyrant as well as on our social media, so be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for further updates.
