It's not often I find stuff about a game I didn't know about from a non-gaming site, but Dread Central surprised me today. Scorn is an upcoming indie horror shooter that looks like Doom but with a more Alien sci-fi twist. The game looks stylistically awesome, but I'll be curious to see how it plays. Expect to see the game popping up on Steam come 2017...
