Set in a dystopian city ravaged by a nefarious megacorp, you play as a retired veteran called in to take down the shadowy figure known as SANABI.
Its main hook is - well, a hook. Or to be precise, a prosthetic arm doubling as a chain-hook, allowing you to fling your way around the environment. Together with your hacking drone buddy called Mari, you’ll be fighting enemies and exploring the hidden depths of a world full of intrigue.
Developer Wonder Potion is promising a fast and frantic experience with a stylish aesthetic. They also say that they want to work closely with players during the early access period to nurture the game to its full potential, claiming that “The team is deeply committed to its fans and the community so everyone will want to join in on the fun”.
South Korean publisher NEOWIZ has a history of 2D platformers under its belt, so it's in familiar territory with SANABI.
Action-platformer SANABI is now available on Steam in early access. SANABI can be purchased from Steam for $14.99, with a 10% sale until July 7th. This entitles players to the whole of the early access period of development as well as post-release content.
