Trying to bring understanding to people who suffer with psychosis by putting it in the experience of a thrilling, story-driven game is Ninja Theory. Digging deep into what many would consider the unknown and shining a light on what it would be like to see through their eyes through Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
They have announced that the game will have a 25-minute feature included in Hellblade about our collaboration with neuroscientists and people who have lived the experience of psychosis. Check out this preview:
Just the short bit shows so much detail, planning, and understand went into understanding what it would be like to have psychosis. Travelling the world while fighting a battle within yourself can't be an easy task to live through, let alone create!
