D'oh Meets GO! — The Simpsons Are Taking Over MONOPOLY GO!

Two of the most iconic names in entertainment are colliding, and it's about to get beautifully chaotic. Starting June 3, Scopely is unleashing The Simpsons inside MONOPOLY GO! for a massive crossover event running through July 29 marking Springfield's first return to a dedicated mobile game experience in over 13 years. This isn't a simple skin swap or lazy cameo drop. Working directly with The Simpsons' creative team, we now are seeing having built an entirely new shared universe where both worlds genuinely cross over through original storytelling, dynamic gameplay, and stunning animation. Players will build, explore, and progress through Springfield's most recognizable locations from the Nuclear Power Plant to Krustyland, all reimagined in MONOPOLY GO!'s signature art style. Narrative-driven Episodes unfold every two weeks with interconnected storylines across seasonal boards, collectible Sticker Sets, themed mini-games, and animated sequences. You can bribe Chief Wiggum to escape Jail, dodge runaway Monorails in Simpsons-themed Shutdowns and Heists, watch Homer wheeze through Springfield before faceplanting into nuclear waste during The Simpsons Run, and discover over 50 Simpsons-themed Chance Cards packed with deep-cut references and memes that fans will lose their minds over.

The cherry on top is an all-new original animated short written and produced by The Simpsons team, led by veteran Executive Producer Loni Steele Sosthand, that kicks off the entire season in spectacular fashion. The short pits Mr. Monopoly, voiced by Will Ferrell, against Springfield's most ruthlessly petty billionaire, Mr. Burns, played by the legendary Harry Shearer, reigniting a decades-old feud that traces back to their college days at Yale and a stolen top hat. It's the kind of absurd, perfectly crafted comedy that only happens when two creative powerhouses stop playing it safe and go all-in. With MONOPOLY GO! already boasting over 300 million downloads, 90-plus awards, and millions of daily players, this crossover has the reach to introduce a whole new generation to Springfield's finest and give longtime Simpsons fans a reason to roll the dice for the first time. The Simpsons x MONOPOLY GO! is available as a free download on iOS and Android starting June 3. Excellent.
