Anticipation has been high for the upcoming Dragon Quest XI release. The RPG adventure will be hitting shelves on September 27th, but that day has another surprise in store for us. The first three Dragon Quest games will become available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Switch owners and RPG fans will be able to experience the original adventures alongside the arrival of the franchise’s newest entry. While there has been no announcement on a physical release for the three games, you’ll be able to purchase them individually from Nintendo’s digital storefront.
These legendary titles released in 1986, ‘87, and ‘88. They’re part of one of the most influential RPG series of all time, and they are all priced between $5 and $15. The three Dragon Quest games will bolster an already-strong lineup of classic video games that can be played on the Nintendo Switch.
So, less than two weeks until all your Dragon Quest wishes come true.
