That's right, folks. The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017, a.k.a. E3, is almost upon us with just a week left to go. And to help spread the gaming hype (as if it really needed any assistance), we will be focusing on any E3 related announcements and news this upcoming week before we head on over to the Expo ourselves.
I'm sure many of you have dreamt of what you would like to see at the expo. I know I have had a fantasy or two. We've seen some leaked images of Assassin's Creed Origins, so I am pretty sure that announcement will be made. There have also been some weird Need for Speed trailers popping up and I genuinely hope we'll be seeing better footage from my most anticipated racing game of the year.
Of course, I'm just touching on some games I hope to see revealed myself. The following are the highly anticipated games expected by almost everyone in the gaming news industry:
- Destiny 2
- Quake Champions
- Lawbreakers
- Agents of Mayhem
- Gran Turismo Sport
- State of Decay 2
- Far Cry 5
- Days Gone
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
- Detroit: Become Human
- Sea of Thieves
- God of War
- Total War: Warhammer 2
- Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite
- Madden 18
- PES 2018
- Crackdown 3
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Sonic Forces & Sonic Mania
- Knack 2
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole
- Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age & Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
- Star Wars: Battlefront II
- Death Stranding
- Matterfall
- Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
- Splatoon 2
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance
- Metal Gear Survive
- Spider-man
- Dauntless
- Ys VIII
- Fallout 4 VR
- Yakuza 6
- Ace Combat 7
- Lost Sphear
- Skyrim (Switch)
- Need for Speed: Payback
- Project Cars 2
- Elder Scrolls: Legends
- Path of Exile
- The Last of Us Part II
Quite a list, right? And that's just the most anticipated. There is no doubt that E3 2017 is going to be one epic expo, and we will make sure to bring you some juicy news straight from E3 itself.
Now that we've covered what we know should be revealed, let's have some unrealistic wishful thinking. If I had to open my mind to what I'd really like to see, I'd love to be bowled over by a Konami announcement for a new Silent Hill. Yes, the devastating announcement of Silent Hills cancellation still runs tremors through fans' hearts, but I still want a new one to be released. And while we're being so candid, I'd like to throw some Soul Calibur in there for good measure. I've seen new Mortal Kombats, Tekkens and Injustices, but would love me a return to this Namco favorite.
See something missing from the list that you are looking forward to being revealed, or have something that you would love to see on it no matter how unrealistic? Drop us some notes in the comments.
