With the release for the alien-based title in the action-packed Tom Clancy series from Ubisoft set to release in just over a month, they have started showing off some of the aspects that will make Rainbow Six Extraction stick out among the rest. One main thing that developers like to do is keep their players active on their games and with a high-skilled player base following the Rainbow Six series, the developers are looking to put their skills to the test.
In order to do that, they have added an Endgame mode. Each week, your squad chooses from a hand-picked roster to navigate through nine customized subzones that get progressively harder. As you progress, all objectives must be completed to proceed, but beware that refill stations get scarcer and the allotted time gets shorter with each stage. Your squad must push through to the end to extract to bank your points and reach a higher class, but if you die or fail to extract then you will gain nothing. Successful extractions will help rank up your squad and if you manage to reach Diamond class, you will earn special headgear to wear.
Along with these weekly challenges, they are going to have Crisis events. These are limited timed intense events with an extraction and new content. Each event will have a new theme and new operator for your roster or a new formidable foe to take down. The first Crisis event will be ‘Spillover’ which will task players with the objective to wipe out a mass spread of propagating aliens as hordes descend on them.
All of these endgame mode options will be available on Rainbow Six Extraction at launch! So, come January 20, 2022, players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox will be able to challenge their skills immediately. With the breakdown of the game and this mode announced, all that’s left is to actually play the game. If you are set on getting in on this game, be sure to pre-order and get in the action on launch.
