The Keepsake Sea expansion releases in November 2026. An exact date hasn’t been shared yet, but we should learn the exact date at developer Gameloft’s upcoming showcase stream on October 21.
What platforms will The Keepsake Sea expansion be on?
The Keepsake Sea expansion will be available on every major platform, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
How much will The Keepsake Sea expansion cost?
The Keepsake Sea’s price hasn’t been announced yet, but based on previous expansions, we expect it to cost around $30-$35.
Which characters come with The Keepsake Sea expansion?
The Keepsake Sea expansion appears to include at least three new characters: Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Milo from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Megara from Hercules. Whether more characters will appear, too, is yet to be seen.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea, you’ll discover the new ability to transform into a mermaid (or merman) and explore under the sea in three new customizable biomes. There will be plenty of ocean-themed biomes to explore while you complete quests, gather ocean materials, and flip your fins.
